Bingo.com Losses
Bingo.com has announced its latest set of financial results and is yet to post a profit. The site which recently concluded a deal with Unibet and migrated to their software posted a 2nd quarter loss of $27.977 according to reports. This is after an investment by Unibet of US$2.25 million to acquire 26% of the business that Bingo.com generates.
The positive in this , if there is a postive in a loss for a gambling company is that the minus in this quarter is a lot smaller than it has been previously and it has been blamed on the migration to the new software type. A lot of players are lost during any migration.
These figures are in stark contrast to the rest of the online bingo world where sharp profits are making the headlines. Wink Bingo and other sites on the same platform have enabled 888 to post a 372% growth in online bingo for the 2nd quarter of the year.
It seems that Bingo players are not simply interested in a name and they are more interested in what bingo bonuses and promotions are available at bingo rooms.
