Wink Bingo has announced that it will sponsor series two of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ or TOWIE as it’s popularly known which starts on Sunday, 20th March. The ITV2 reality television show was originally launched in October 2010 and considered to be Britain’s answer to The Jersey Shore.

Narrated by self confessed bingo enthusiast, Denise Van Outen, TOWIE follows the lives of a group of young adults Mark Wright, Jessica Wright, Kirk Norcross, Amy Childs, Lauren Goodger, Sam Faiers and their friends and is filmed in Brentwood and Chigwell near London. The show will be broadcasted at 10pm every Sunday and Wednesday by ITV2.

In Season Two, The Only Way Is Essex will show "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way". The show was a surprise hit when it was launched, with a million viewers tuning in every week. The first episode will be broadcasted on 20th

March and will feature a total of 14 episodes until 4th May. Given the expected viewership, this is a fantastic opportunity for Wink Bingo to be seen nationwide. The UK bingo site will air six Wink bumpers before and after the show as well as during ad breaks. The bumpers have been written and produced by London based creative agency, Hero Media who have been responsible for all Wink Bingo advertising content since its launch in 2008.
