Ladbrokes Renews Microgaming Agreement

Ladbrokes Plc, UK’s biggest bookmaker, has announced the renewal of their online gaming platform with Microgaming. According to the terms of the agreement, Microgaming will continue to provide casino and games software to Ladbrokes.

Ladbrokes CEO Richard Glynn said, “This agreement reflects our ongoing objective to offer customers the best products in the market place through more flexible supplier relationships which offer increased opportunities for growth. Microgaming has a proven track record and product range and this new agreement offers us the opportunity to maximise our relationship in the future.”

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever spoke about the ten year association between the two companies, "We have had a long and successful association with Ladbrokes; this new agreement will enable us to continue working closely together to enable Ladbrokes to provide a market leading casino offering and extend the reach of our products across all Ladbrokes channels.”

Earlier in the year, Ladbrokes had pulled out of talks over the purchase of 888. The bookmakers also stated that it would introduce new gaming machines to its land based betting venues following the successful completion of a deal with Global Draw and is in discussion with a number of other suppliers. Ladbrokes has over 2,700 betting shops and takes bets worth around £15 billion each year. The bookmakers also own and operate Ladbrokes Casino which offers over 540 casino games.
