According to recent reports, 888Casino is the most visible casino site in the online space; research has revealed that the online casino appears as the first page result for over 90% of searches conducted on Google UK which is the most popular search engine in the UK and used by over 90% of the country’s web users.This is a remarkable statistic.

888Casino topped the search results appearing 50% of the times during the research, its nearest competitors, SpinPalace and William Hill Casino appeared just 41% and 38% times respectively. However none of them fared as badly as GetMinted which appeared only 13% during a search on Google UK.

The top 10 most visible casino sites according to the reports are; 888.com (50%), SpinPalace.com (41%), WilliamHillCasino.com (38%), Casino.com (29%), IMDB.com (29%), OnlineCasinoKing.co.uk (28%), Wikipedia.org (26%), InterCasino.co.uk (20%), Jackpot.co.uk (14%), GetMinted.com (13%)

The parameters of the survey included search words specific to the online casino world, such as ‘online casino’, ‘online slots’, ‘casino’; words used by the average web user who would be looking for information about online casinos. The survey was conducted in the month of September and a total of 421,000 casino searches were conducted on Google UK.

During the period of the research, the word ‘casino’ accounted for 32% (135,000 searches) of the searches conducted. Other top search words included ‘online casino’ 74,000 times or 18%, ‘online slots’ which was 4% at 18,100 searches as well as ‘casino games’ (4% or 14,800 searches) and ‘internet casino’ (3% and 12,100).

888Casino showed high visibility on search results at Google, appearing on the first page frequently, for two search words; ‘casino’ and ‘online casino’. However, as those two words are the highest volume ranking words, 888Casino achieved a poll position on both of them.

SpinPalace, in comparison, which was the third most visible casino site in Google searches, did achieve number one position when the word ‘casinos on line’ was used as search criteria. However, those words were only used 91 times during the research period.
