Playtech launches Mobile Web Apps

Online gaming software supplier, Playtech, has announced the launch of their new platform for mobile gaming – Mobile Web Apps. The new cross platform solution will allow players at all Playtech casinos to continue playing their favourite online casino games on the go without having to download any software first.

The innovation from Playtech will allow their operators to grow their market base by entering the lucrative mobile entertainment market. The Mobile Web Apps has the ease of use feature of letting players switch between their computers and mobile using the same account details. The non-stop, instant play experience will be supported by the following mobile platforms: iPhone / iPod Touch and Android which means a lot of different phones can support the new Playtech games application.

Whilst there are over a dozen online casino games available for the mobile, the three games to launch as part of the Mobile Web Apps are Blackjack, the popular video poker game Jack or Better and the Gold Rally progressive slot. The latter is linked to the Playtech progressive jackpot and is one of the largest progressive jackpots in the world. In the pipeline are three more new games as Java apps which include a single player version of the classic Bingo game known as Pop Bingo; the classic lottery style game, Keno and Rock, Paper, Scissors.

The innovative Casino Packs will allow operators to create their own download packages by bundling custom selected games into one package. This means that users can log-in one time and access all games instantly.

The Mobile Gaming platform is supported by Playtech’s Information Management Solution (IMS), the infrastructure that manages and monitors all activities of the mobile operations. The new Playtech Mobile allows players a fully branded, seamless gaming experience of being able to take their very favourite casino games with them, wherever they go.
