Lord of the Rings slots in the pipeline

The Lord of the Rings slots game is not out yet but it has proved to be one of the most talked about online slots game already.  Although it has been awhile since we saw the heroes of Lord of the Rings grace the silver screen, the legacy lives on, and gamers also want to relive the book and movie phenomenon.

We read in a press release that Microgaming representatives has “signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Warner Bros. It is not surprising that Microgaming wants to cash in on the Lord of the Rings phenomenon.  The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy alone has made more than three billion dollars internationally from the box office. And other Hollywood slots games have been received well in the past. Two examples that come to mind are Hellboy slot and Tomb Raider, as well as some of the Marvel Comic Book slots games in the excellent Marvel slots series on the Playtech platform. 

The fact is that it there are so many slots games out there and most people will only go for either their old favorites or for one that that sounds familiar.  For example, if you were to play slots for the first time tomorrow would you rather play something called Monkey Adventures or a game called The Lord of the Rings?  Because most of us know the characters involved and the plot, the game will just be so much more exciting.
