British Media go into 888 Hysteria

Talks between 888 Holdings and Ladbrokes Plc seem to have broken down at this stage. No one will know apart from the parties involved as to why this has taken place, speculation has been pointing to a difference in price as the main reason for the failure. 888 Holdings are the owners of a number of high profile brands including 888 Casino and Wink Bingo. They have just unveiled quarterly results that have significantly improved on the same quarter last year so we do not really understand the portrayal of the company by the British media.

We noted headlines saying that the share price had slumped and a lot of other highly dramatic headlines that do not actually in our opinion do 888 Holdings justice. You must wonder at the motivation behind these kinds of headline. Ladbrokes is a British company and although 888 Holdings are listed in the UK the managment and staff and majority shareholders are predominantly Israeli.

888 Holdings seem to have an iron grip on the UK bingo market at the moment , they are well placed to launch back into the United States once legislation is in place. They have a number of agreements in place with both Harrahs and the WSOP poker brand. They have no legal issues outstanding with the DOJ that Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars are currently experiencing. They have a vast amount of experience and know how when it comes to introducing people to entertainment. Why would you not back them.They have a fantastic product in 888 Casino and a very competitive poker product.

We consider it a positive thing if the shareprice has slumped as some newspapers have pointed out. We are going to buy some shares in 888 Holdings and sit on them until they rocket again. We believe that the talks with Ladbrokes failed because Ladbrokes did not want to pay a relevant price for one of the oldest gambling outfits on the net. We are taking a gamble and purchasing shares in 888 Holdings. Does anyone want to come along and do the same.We do not believe that the issues that the company has are insurmountable.

This is just the rebirth of a company that not long ago was worth over a billion in terms of shares issued. If it was worth that then , it could get to that level again. You were told that here first.Go out and get some shares in 888.
