Betfair takes on CryptoLogic’s Online Casino Games
CryptoLogic Limited on the morning of 27th April said that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Betfair – the online betting exchange. This move will see that the company provides at least ten of its top branded and non-branded slot games to Betfair's two million registered customers.
The first five games from CryptoLogic’s stables will be made available to Betfair Casino customers before the end of Q2, with the remaining games set to follow during the second half of 2009.
All the games are available through Orbis Technology's Open Bet Fixed Odds Games (FOG) platform, the result of a strategic partnership signed in December 2008 between CryptoLogic and Orbis. The partnership was signed by CryptoLogic to provide some of the best performing casino games to Orbis customers.
Brian Hadfield, President and CEO, CryptoLogic, said: "CryptoLogic's new relationship with Betfair is excellent proof of the potential of our 'build once, license often' business strategy. CryptoLogic's branded slot games are both popular and profitable, and today that leads yet another top global gaming brand to join CryptoLogic's growing list of customers."
Betfair previously worked with Orbis to deliver its popular Betfairarcade.com and Quickplay games. CryptoLogic's online games will be made available alongside the 75 games already delivered in the Arcade.
"Betfair is excited to make CryptoLogic's casino games available to our two million registered customers," said Albert Tapper Head of Arcade / XG. "Betfair is all about offering customers unprecedented choice, value and control, and CryptoLogic's market-leading slot games will add to that experience."
CryptoLogic and Betfair previously worked together in 2004 by using software licensed from CryptoLogic's subsidiary, WagerLogic Limited, to launch Betfairpoker.com. Betfair has since moved on to its own poker platform.
