The UK National Lottery has announced that a prize worth nearly £400,000 won on Christmas Eve remains unclaimed. The EuroMillions ticket, bought in London for the 24th December game is worth £388,384 and was on as a second tier prize matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life and really would be a wonderful start to 2011. We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding." The winning numbers for the game 19, 36, 38, 42, 46 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 8.

The winner has till the 22nd of June 2011 to claim their prize after which the prize money will be donated to the Good Causes fund. The UK National Lottery has urged lottery players to check their old tickets on the chance that they hold the key to a £400,000 fortune. Players will remember that Christmas Eve EuroMillions saw twenty five UK lottery players win £1,000,000 each with the Millionaire Raffle draw which typically gives away a million to one lucky player every week.
