Mega 166M EuroMillions Lottery

Mega 166M EuroMillions Lottery

The EuroMillions lottery is worth a massive £166,000,000 tonight and if the jackpot is taken by a single ticket, the winner will be wealthier than David and Victoria Beckham who are estimated to be worth £165million. The winner will also become Europe’s biggest lottery winner and will be the 418th richest person in the UK.

Jenny Dowden, spokeswoman for the UK National Lottery said, “We could be creating several UK millionaires in the next prize level down. On Tuesday, we had five UK ticket-holders matching five numbers and one Lucky Star.”

“This roll series alone has already raised £70million for good causes here in the UK. At their peak on Tuesday, around 2.5 million EuroMillions tickets were sold per hour, further boosting returns to the good causes. We urge players to get their tickets early,” she said.

The massive value of the jackpot tonight is due to the fact that the EuroMillions lottery has rolled over a total of thirteen times. However, if the jackpot is not won tonight, it will stay at the same value for the next draw. The jackpot cap rule was introduced in 2009 and according to this rule the top value will stay the same and any additional cash raised for the lottery will be shared between the next level of prize winners.

Tickets for the EuroMillions lottery are priced at £2 per line of numbers and UK lottery players are also automatically enrolled into the Millionaire’s Raffle which guarantees a millionaire every week.

To win tonight’s £166 million lottery a player would have to match five main numbers and two lucky star numbers while the players who match five mains and 1 star will win the second tier prize. In total the lottery game has thirteen tiers and there are one in twenty three chances of winning a prize.
