Dolphin's Paradise

Dolphin's Paradise

Dolphin’s Paradise is Playtech’s version of the Japanese game – Pachinko. A blend of Pinball and Slots – if one were to describe. Dolphin’s Paradise takes the pinging ball aspect of Pinball and marries it to the reels with characters of the Slots. The basic difference is one of control, rather the lack of it. Once the game is in motion, you have no control, and it is played continuously until you click Stop.

Start by choosing the power level that will launch the balls into the machine. Click start to set the game into motion, and a series of balls are fired into the play area. The Play Area has got bumpers, shelves, and visual of coconut trees, girls, and of course dolphins. At the bottom, there is a special area known as the ‘Chucker’ – a receptacle for the pinging balls. If a ball falls into the Chucker, you win another four balls, in addition to a slot machine spin. The numbered reels on the slot machine need to stop at certain junctions to start a one of the many mini games. If all three numbers on a win line match, the Open chute at the bottom of the machines opens to catch all balls. For each of the next 15 balls that are caught by the chute, you win 100 balls. Thus, a mini-game win amounts to 1500 balls.

The right side of the machine shows the Ball value (price of each ball), and the Reel spin (number of reels spins completed). To the left of the pool is the Play/Stop button, and around it is the power adjustment knob (to change the force with which the balls are launched).

With so much happening – and all at the same time, this game could get confusing or overwhelming – but mostly it is lots of fun. With Dolphin’s Paradise, Playtech has another winner in its hands.
