International designer of online and land-based gaming software Playtech released 3D Roulette in October 2009. As the name implies, 3D Roulette brings to its players a superior gaming experience with enhanced graphics, superior sound and ambient settings to transport the player into a real life casino environment. 3D Roulette allows the players several three ways to wager bets; inside bets, outside bets and racetrack bets. Inside bets are those placed on the inner part of the roulette board and have multiple betting options such as Straight Up which is a single number bet, the Split Bet which allows players to bet on two neighbouring numbers where the maximum bet amount for is 2 x the Straight Up Max bet. The Street Bet allows players to bet on three numbers on a single vertical line with a x 3 betting limit of the Straight Up Max bet. Also available in the Inside bets are Corner Bet, Line Bet, Trio Bet and Four Bet which allow the players various winning combinations.

3D Roulette also offers outside bets- bets placed outside of the number grid on the board areas that correspond to specific sections and colours. Inside bets have multiple options such as Column Bets where players can bet on all the twelve numbers on any of the three horizontal lines, Dozen Bet which is a bet on the first (1-12), second (13-24), or third group (25-36) of twelve numbers. Also available are Red or Black, Even or Odd or Low or High Bets.

3D Roulette also has a special kind of bet called Racetrack Bets which consists of a racetrack that duplicates the roulette wheel and is reserved for placing special bets. Players can choose from several Racetrack betting options such as the Neighbour Bet where players bet on five numbers located next to each other and can win 5 times the selected chip value.

Red Splits allows you to bet on the red splits and has a return of 4 times the selected chip value, whilst Black Splits is where the players bets on seven black splits with a 7 x the selected chip value. Also available are Voisins Du Zero, Tiers Du Cylindre.

The game layout is simple and easy to understand. Simply select the chips you want to bet; decide on the betting area, increase the bets by adding chips to your betting amount and Spin!
